About Christian Noel

Christian Noel Bauer was born on December 24th, 1994. He is studying singing at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe in the class of Prof. Friedemann Röhlig.

He supplemented his training in master classes with Brigitte Fassbaender and Regina Werner-Dietrich, among others, and in a production of excerpts from “La Bohéme” under Peter Konwitschny as Schaunard.

 

In December 2021, Christian Noel made his debut in Hansel and Gretel as Father / Peter Besenbinder at the Chamber Opera Schloss Rheinsberg.

 

Even before studying singing, he won state and national prizes in the "Jugend musiziert" competition in the solo and duo categories. He is a prize winner of the International Singing Competition of the Chamber Opera Schloss Rheinsberg in 2019 and 2021.

At the opera school of the Karlsruhe University of Music he sang and acted as Papageno in "Magic Flute", Alidoro in "La Cenerentola" and Otto Lampe in "The Great Song Competition of the Heidehasen".

In concert performances in his hometown of Heidenheim he sang the two Handel roles "Polyphemus" in Acis and Galatea and "Time" in "The Triumph of Time and Truth".
